We are music publishers specialising in 16th century Latin church music. We also publish a range of contemporary music. Here you can find information about the company and our composers: new releases, catalogues, price lists and contact details.
Mapa Mundi was founded in 1977 by Bruno Turner and Martyn Imrie, to edit and publish chiefly Hispanic church music of the Renaissance period in practical performing editions. Our thorough, scholarly, and professional editions, finely printed and affordable to buy, are simply to serve and encourage performance.
Vanderbeek & Imrie Ltd. was founded in 1983 by Martyn Imrie and Andrew van der Beek, initially to administer Mapa Mundi, but also to publish a wide range of contemporary music.
We are in the process of updating the Vanderbeek & Imrie catalogue. We are gradually adding pieces to the online database and hope to have the whole catalogue online and fully searchable shortly. If you are looking for a title which is not listed, please contact us.

"This collection of pieces arose from an initial idea for Ghost Trees, which I then decided to augment, writing pieces for my pianist friends around the world, intending to give them something that in some way reflected their character as musicians and as a way of continuing to compose useful music during the period of the Corona Virus pandemic."
